You will discover that some devices, even off, consume electricity, such as hi-fi systems with standby mode.

To avoid paying for nothing, plug these devices into a multiple socket with an orange switch. And turn off the plug as soon as you are not using these devices.

Some appliances have variable consumption like fridge or laptop.

With our power meter we found that a laptop PC consumes around 2 watts off if the battery is charged, 10 watts in standby mode and 40 watts on. On the other hand, when it is charging your laptop can consume 35 watts off!
