How to descale a steam generator with white vinegar?
Is your steam generator full of limestone?

To get rid of tartar, there is nothing more effective than white vinegar!
How to do
1. Wait until your steam generator is perfectly cold.
2. Completely empty the tank.
3. Fill it again with a glass of white vinegar.
4. Add a glass of deionized water if possible.
5. Let this mixture sit overnight in your machine.
6. Empty it in the early morning to remove all the pieces of scale accumulated inside your steam generator.
7. Rinse your device with water, stirring it vigorously, until all the residue is removed (2 or 3 times on average).
Results
And there you have it, you are finally rid of tartar for a little while :-)
feel free to renew the operation as soon as your machine starts to work less well than usual, the white vinegar will only do it good.
Precautions for use
What you absolutely need to know before starting your cleaning is that you do not especially not to heat your steam generator when you are descaling it.
Yep, once heated, white vinegar becomes a bit too corrosive for your iron. It could damage the functioning of your steam generator, so be very careful!
