The shape of my face
Fashion has been on the eyebrows for a few years not too thick, well designed. The goal is to emphasize the look and enhance the face.
In order to know where I should start tweezing on the eye side, I place my tweezers or a pencil against the bridge of my nose. Anything protruding from the side of the nose should be removed.
To also see where to stop on the other side, I place the forceps or pencil from the corner of the lip towards the outer corner of the eye. And anything that sticks out there too will have to be removed.
This method was given to me by my beautician best friend.
She keeps me from wondering for hours what is the shape of my face and how long should my eyebrows be.
The shape of my eyebrows
Even if, as I told you, fashion is discreet and harmonious, if you have very full eyebrows, you shouldn't either remove everything, until leaving only one line, and at the risk of "denaturing" us.
One constant to respect: I always leave an eyebrow thicker side internal of the eye. Then, I give my eyebrows whatever shape I want.
I gradually refine outwards. I go up my line 3/4 and I go back down 1/4. I thus respect the natural form of my eyebrows, playing on the chosen thickness.
If I have the eyebrow in circumflex, I round the tip above. If it is in a straight line, I round in the middle and leave a small thickness on each side.
I pluck the top of both ends a little. For the rest, I look at the shape and adjust.
When and how to epilate
So as not to hurt too much, I proceed to my waxing after my shower, the pores of my skin being dilated, I suffer less! But there are different techniques to use if you really fear pain.
I pluck my eyebrows for a long time once a month and I do small touch-ups once a week.
I always have a clean tweezer, which I can clean with 60 ° alcohol. But in case of very full eyebrows, if I am skilled, I can try to use wax.
After the session, I brush them to put them in place. I plan not to epilate just before an outing, at the risk of being a little too red.
And I hydrate the shaved part, with a little shea butter.
Savings made
A visit to the beautician once in a while, one can afford it, for a complete facial treatment, or a body massage.
Where it becomes more expensive is when you add waxing (legs, bikini line, eyebrows) ... At the end of the year, the beauty budget exploded!
If I go to the institute, I spend an average of € 10 per session. If I go there about 10 times during the year, the calculation is quickly done: I spend 100 € in one year.
At home, it costs me almost nothing.
