Slugs nibble the flowers and vegetables in your garden?

No need to spray them with chemicals to get rid of them!

Not only do these products pollute the soil in your vegetable garden, but in addition they are not cheap ...

Fortunately, my gardening grandmother revealed to me her natural and effective trap against slugs. And it costs almost nothing!

The trick is to put beer in a container to attract and trap them. Look :

A red bowl with beer in it and lured slugs that fell into it

What you need

- 1 bowl with slippery sides

- beer

How to do

1. Bury the container in the earth in the middle of the vegetable garden.

2. Let the rim of the container protrude about 1/2 cm.

3. Fill the container halfway with beer.

4. Attracted by the beer, the slugs will crawl into the bowl to drink it.

5. While drinking the beer, they will fall into the container without being able to rise.

And There you go ! Thanks to this homemade slug trap, no more ravaged vegetables in your vegetable garden :-)

Easy, fast and efficient, isn't it?

When the slugs are trapped in the container, release them a little further from your home so as not to kill them.

Instead of the bowl, you can use a carton of chopped milk, a small aluminum dish, a plastic glass, or directly the can of beer.

Obviously, you can scatter several traps in the vegetable patch or garden.

Why does it work?

Slugs can't resist beer! Indeed, this slightly sweet drink attracts them irresistibly.

They will therefore try to drink it by going into the container.

Due to the slippery sides of the bowl, they will slip and fall into it.

Trapped in the liquid, they will no longer be able to come out.
