Easy, fast and efficient, isn't it?
This homemade cleaner is effective for daily washing all types of floors, from the kitchen to the bathroom, including the living room.
It works for tiles, very dirty linoleum, mosaic floors, marble or even terracotta tiles.
This grandmother's trick is also effective for cleaning laminate floors. But be careful, wring out the mop well before passing it to avoid traces. It should be just wet.
And since baking soda is a very economical product, compared to industrial cleaners, Starwax style, you will save a lot of money!
Less than 4 € for 500 g against more than 10 euros for the others!
Why does it work?
Bicarbonate is a natural and economical multi-use cleaning product.
Dissolved in water, the molecules of bicarbonate have a powerful detergent action.
They remove stains and traces of grease without leaving a trace.
Since baking soda is a mildly abrasive powder, it loosens stubborn dirt encrusted on floors.
In addition, baking soda is a completely natural all-rounder.
There is no risk to your health, that of your family or your pets to use it, even every day.
Bonus tips
- You can add a capful of black soap in your bicarbonate water to clean very dirty tiles.
- For an additional disinfectant action, it is possible to alternate with washing with vinegar water. No need to add too much white vinegar! A 20% vinegar water is enough for an impeccable result. It is perfect if the soil is a little oily. Find out how to do it here.
- If stains are encrusted on the floor, use a paste composed of 3 parts of baking soda mixed with 1 part of water. Apply the paste to the stain and let it act for a few minutes. Rub a little with a sponge and rinse. And hop ! the stain has disappeared. Find out how to do it here.
The advantage is that you can use this natural cleaner on all floors, even plastic ones that are more fragile than stone floors.
