Then, I learned that it is also useful for cleaning the hobs, the kitchen and the bathroom.

Since then, I have been using a homemade, multi-purpose, hydrogen peroxide cleanser.

So I did extensive research on hydrogen peroxide. And that's when I realized how magical it is!

It can be used without danger, it is found everywhere, it is inexpensive and above all: IT REALLY WORKS!

What are the advantages of hydrogen peroxide?

Basically, hydrogen peroxide is water to which an oxygen atom has been added. This means it breaks down quickly and safely in water and oxygen.

Here is some interesting information about hydrogen peroxide:

- Oxygenated water is present in all living matter.

- Your white blood cells naturally produce oxygenated water. It is used to fight bacteria and infections that attack your body.

- Fruits and vegetables naturally produce oxygenated water. This is one of the reasons that fresh fruits and vegetables are good for you.

- Breast milk secreted in the first days after childbirth (colostrum) has a high oxygenated water content. This oxygenated water is transferred to the newborn and stimulates its immune system.

- There is also oxygenated water in rainwater. This is because rainwater receives an additional atom of ozone. Therefore, this water speeds up the growth of your plants.

For me, hydrogen peroxide is on the list of the best products to use at home. I put it in the top 5, along with the apple cider vinegar, baking soda, magnesium sulfate and lemon.

We all know the use of hydrogen peroxide for hair lightening, cleaning or stain remover, but did you know that it is also the best product for cleaning earwax from your ears? And to improve the health of your plants? And to sanitize the surfaces of your home?

Frankly, there are so many uses for hydrogen peroxide that I always have it handy, in a sprayer.

Here are the 29 magical uses of hydrogen peroxide:

1. Cleanse your fruits and vegetables

To remove pesticides and dirt from your fruits and vegetables, use hydrogen peroxide.

Fill your sink with fresh water, dilute 5 cl of hydrogen peroxide in water and wash and rinse your fruits and vegetables thoroughly in fresh water.

2. Sanitizes your dishes

To sanitize your dishes, add 5 cl of hydrogen peroxide in your dishwasher.

If you wash your dishes by hand, add 5 cl of hydrogen peroxide to your bottle of dishwashing liquid.

3. To make a mouthwash

The hydrogen peroxide kills bacteria that cause bad breath.

Prepare a mixture of water and hydrogen peroxide, in equal parts, and use this mixture as a mouthwash.Sure,never swallow mouthwashes!

4. Whitens your teeth

By adding a little salt and baking soda, hydrogen peroxide makes an excellent toothpaste. Hydrogen peroxide is also known for its whitening effects.

5. Disinfect your toothbrush

We don't think about it often, but toothbrushes are a breeding ground for bacteria.

To prevent this transfer of bacteria, dip your toothbrush in a glass of hydrogen peroxide.

Very useful if someone in the family has a cold so as not to catch it.

6. Cleans your cutting board

To do this, pour oxygenated water on your cutting board or countertop.

Leave on for a few minutes. If the hydrogen peroxide makes a crackling noise, that's normal. Scrub with a brush and rinse.

Using a sponge, clean your refrigerator with hydrogen peroxide. This method also applies to the dishwasher.

8. Disinfect your sponges

In a small container, prepare a mixture of hot water and hydrogen peroxide (in equal parts).

Soak your sponges in this mixture for 10 min. Rinse the sponges thoroughly.

Grease stains get stuck on pots and pans due to cooking. Use hydrogen peroxide to get rid of dirty dishes.

Mix hydrogen peroxide and baking soda to make a paste. Apply this paste to the dirty parts of your dishes.

Leave to act for a few minutes. Rub with the abrasive part of a sponge to easily remove stains.

And it also works for baking sheets.

10. Whitens tile joints

Over time, tile joints lose their whiteness. Use hydrogen peroxide to thin them out.

To do this, make sure the surface is dry. Using a sprayer, spray a generous amount of hydrogen peroxide onto the tile joints.

Leave it on for a few minutes (if the hydrogen peroxide makes a sparkling noise, this is normal). Scrub the joints with an old toothbrush.

Repeat 1 or 2 times, until your joints regain their whiteness.

11. Cleans the toilets.

Yes, hydrogen peroxide also works to clean your toilets. Pour 15 cl of hydrogen peroxide into the bowl of your toilet.

Leave on for 20 minutes. Scrub with a brush.

12. Removes yellow stains from your clothes

Removing stains from your clothes, curtains and tablecloths is easy with hydrogen peroxide.

Pour hydrogen peroxide directly on the stain. Leave to act, between 5 and 15 min. Wash the fabric in the washing machine. Be careful, only use 10 parts hydrogen peroxide on stains.

Hydrogen peroxide is also a great non-toxic alternative to bleach for bleaching white laundry. The hydrogen peroxide is just as effective and it is non-polluting.

Before starting your machine, add 25 cl of hydrogen peroxide in the detergent drawer.

13. Cleans your floors thoroughly

Hydrogen peroxide is a gentle cleanser. Therefore, you can use it on ALL surfaces.

Just dilute 10 parts hydrogen peroxide in hot water (15 cl for 3 l of water) and wash your floors with this mixture.

Best of all, there is no need to rinse!

14. Clean your children's toys

Hydrogen peroxide is particularly well suited for cleaning and sanitizing your children's toys.

Thanks to its cleansing AND non-toxic properties, it can be used safely for babies.

Simply use a sprayer with 10 volume hydrogen peroxide in it to clean all the objects your children handle (toys, toy boxes, doorknobs, etc.).

15. Eliminate fungi on your plants

Do you have any plants? So you know that these are often attacked by fungi.

To remedy this, dilute 5 cl of hydrogen peroxide in a water sprayer and spray this mixture on the leaves of your plants.

In a sprayer, prepare a mixture of equal parts of water and hydrogen peroxide.

Just dilute 25 cl of hydrogen peroxide in a hot bath and immerse yourself in it.

18. Keeps your salads longer

The hydrogen peroxide keeps the salad longer and prevents it from wilting.

Dilute 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide in 10 cl of fresh water.

Spray this mixture on your leftover salads.Drain and store the salad in the refrigerator.

19. Disinfect your children's bowls

If your children often bring their meals to school in reusable bowls or bags, consider disinfecting them with hydrogen peroxide.

This will decrease the chances of them catching germs.

To do this, prepare a mixture of 10 parts hydrogen peroxide and water (1 part hydrogen peroxide to 32 parts water) and water the roots of your plants with this mixture.

22. Whitens lace and yellowing tablecloths

To restore your lace and white tablecloths to their radiance, use oxygenated water.

Fill your sink with hot water and dilute 50 cl of hydrogen peroxide in hot water.

Soak your lace and white tablecloths in the sink for at least 1 hour. Rinse with clean water and air dry.

23. Removes earwax from your ears

Does earwax bother you? So be aware that hydrogen peroxide is particularly useful for removing earwax from your ears.

Lay your head down and pour 2 drops of olive oil into your ear. Add a few drops of hydrogen peroxide.

Do not panic ! It will make a fizzing noise, but that's normal!

Leave on for a few minutes. Tilt your head to drain fluid and earwax from your ear.

24. Fights fungal infections of the feet

Use oxygenated water as a curative and preventive treatment for fungal infections of the feet.

In a sprayer, dilute hydrogen peroxide and water (in equal parts) and spray this mixture on your feet (especially toes) every night before going to bed.

You can also take a foot bath in a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water. This softens the horns of the feet and disinfects the blisters.

To thoroughly clean and disinfect your shower, use oxygenated water.

Spray hydrogen peroxide in your shower to kill bacteria and viruses lying around.

26. Disinfects humidifiers and steamers

To do this, machine wash your curtain with a cotton towel and use your usual detergent.
