4 Effective Tips For Getting Rid of Ants at Home.
Are you invaded by ants at home?
And are you looking for effective repellents to scare them away?
No need to buy a commercial insecticide bomb!
Not only are these insecticides not cheap ...
... but in addition, they are harmful to health.
Fortunately, there are some simple and effective tips for getting rid of ants. Look :
1. Lemon
Lemon is an excellent natural repellent against ants.
To do this, place lemon slices directly in their path.
Also put it in strategic places like doors and windows to push them back. Perfect for getting rid of ants in the house
You can also rub a 1/2 lemon on the doorstep and the bottom of the windows. And it also works with lemon peels.
To extend its action, dilute the juice of a lemon in water and water their usual places of passage. Check out the trick here.
2. Diatomaceous earth
Ants hate putting their feet in diatomaceous earth because it is super absorbent. It is a natural anti-ant! Why ?
Because the earth absorbs the bodily fluids that protect the ants and they hate it. They will therefore no longer go through this.
For this repellent to be effective, sprinkle diatomaceous earth on the usual path of ants.
Also remember to put it along the floor joints or cracks in which they hide.
In places where it is possible, for example in the attic and the cellar, leave the powder visible.
Be aware that surfaces treated with this natural powder must be dry for it to work.
3. Diatomaceous earth + water
To get rid of an anthill that has set up too close to you, diatomaceous earth is also effective. To make a powerful ant control product, it's easy.
Mix 2 tablespoons of diatomaceous earth in 1/4 glass of water.
Then pour this mixture directly into the anthill.
This liquid will spread in the anthill and as it dries, it will have the same drying and abrasive effects as indicated above.
4. White vinegar
Dilute white vinegar in water, and spray patios or paved walkways with this mixture and a sprayer.
Ants hate this smell, so they won't pass that way again.
Since vinegar is also an excellent weedkiller, you kill two birds with one stone by removing the weeds that grow between the tiles.
Be careful not to spill the vinegar on your flower borders.
And for an even more potent ant repellant, steep lemon peels in pure vinegar for 3 days.
Then mix with water and water your patio. Goodbye ants!
White vinegar will not kill ants but keep them away from your patio.
How to limit the invasions of ants?
At home, do nothing to attract ants. Concretely, what does this mean?
Before putting the jam and honey jars away, remember to wipe them dry so that none of the jars are left on the jar.
Also remember to store sugar and cookies in airtight boxes. Finally, do not forget to put the fruit in a bell.
