Oil has spilled on your floor?
Ouch ... that makes a nice grease stain.
It's a little domestic blunder that we could do without. Do not panic ! Your parquet is not ruined.
Luckily, there's a radical grandma's trick to removing grease stains from your hardwood floor.
The trick is to wash your parquet with Sommières earth. It is a 100% natural and inexpensive remedy, so why hesitate?
How to do
1. Remove as much oil or fat as you can with a blotter or paper towel, or if you don't have one, take a few rags.
2. Generously sprinkle your wooden floor with Sommières earth.
3. Leave on for 2 or 3 hours minimum, ideally overnight.
4. Gently rub the soiled surface with a cloth.
5. Then vacuum.
Results
And there you have it, the grease or oil stain has now disappeared from your parquet :-)
