It is true that terracotta tiles tarnish quickly, especially if they are old.
And industrial products for terracotta tiles are expensive. So why not make it a super efficient house?
A tiler friend gave me his homemade recipe to make old terracotta shine easily.
His secret isuse a mixture of black soap, baking soda and linseed oil. Look :
Ingredients
- 70 cl of liquid black soap
- 2 tablespoons of baking soda
- 1 glass of linseed oil
How to do
1. Pour the black soap into a container.
2. Put the baking soda in it.
3. Add the linseed oil.
4. Close the container.
5. Shake to mix well.
6. Pour a stopper into a 5 liter bucket of water.
7. Dip your mop into the bucket.
8. Clean the floor with it.
Results
And there you have it, your terracotta tiles have now regained all their shine :-)
Easy, fast and efficient, isn't it?
