The Ham-Olives Cake, a very economical dish.
Do you want to prepare a hearty aperitif for your friends?
Do you want to concoct a unique and economical dish that is easy to make?
In both cases, bet on the ham and olive cake.
A cheap, easy-to-prepare classic that everyone enjoys.
The ingredients for 4 people
- 2 eggs
- 100g of flour
- 90 ml of milk
- 70 ml of oil
- 2 teaspoons of yeast
- 130 g of ham
- 50 g of olives
- 70 g grated Gruyere
- salt pepper
How to do
1. Preheat your oven to 180 ° (thermostat 5/6).
2. Meanwhile, cut the ham and olives into pieces the size of your choice (but not too big).
3. In a bowl (a bowl-type container), mix the flour, yeast and eggs.
4. Gradually add the lukewarm milk while stirring.
5. Add the olive oil then the grated cheese.
6. Finally add your pieces of ham and olives.
7. Mix everything well, before putting it in a cake mold, buttered if necessary.
8. Cook for about 40 min.
Cooking often depends on the type of oven you have. To be sure your cake is cooked, stick a knife in it. If the blade comes out dried, it is cooked.
Results
And there you have it, your olive and ham cake is ready :-)
Easy, isn't it?
Bonus tip
For the aperitif, let it cool, then present it cut into small squares.
For a meal, serve it hot, sliced, accompanied by a green salad.
