PUK code lost? How to get it from SFR, Orange and Bouygues.
The PUK code appears when you have entered your PIN code incorrectly 3 times.
But, what does it really mean? And how do you get it, whether you are at SFR, Orange or Bouygues? And how do you find your PUK code? We have answered these questions.

Composed of 8 digits, it is essential to ask your operator to unlock the SIM card of your phone.
Let's go back to the procedures for each of the three incumbent operators to obtain their PUK code.
For Orange subscribers
You have two options: either go to the customer area, or you make the request by telephone.
To get to customer area, go to orange.fr then identify yourself with your phone number and your associated password.
Once entered in your mobile account, click on the link "Lost or blocked mobile" in the menu then on "Unblock my card".
You then enter the blocked Mobile space. Then click on "Validate" to obtain your PUK code; the code is thus transmitted to you and you only have to follow the instructions mentioned.
The second ground concerns the'call by telephone automated customer service on 0 800 100 740 from a landline. For all subscribers to a prepaid card (Mobicarte, M6 Mobile or Club), call 3900.
For this procedure, you must imperatively have 4-digit confidential code appearing on your invoice or on your schedule.
The following procedure is very simple: Once the 0 800 100 740 dialed, choose 1 "Obtain your PUK code, suspend your line ...", press 1 a second time then dial your confidential code.
Note the PUK code that is communicated to you, then follow the instructions to unblock the SIM card.

For SFR subscribers
Three options are available to you: in your SFR customer area, by phone or in store.
On thespace SFR customer, you need your personal code. If you don't have it, pick it up from dedicated support or call 963.
Log in to your personal space, then click on "My mobile and my SIM card". Then click on "Unblock" next to "Blocked mobile (3 wrong PIN codes)". Then you just have to follow the steps to retrieve the PUK code.
By telephone, call 06 1000 1963, or 06 1200 1963 for SFR subscribers of blocked packages (price of a call to a SFR mobile). Then let yourself be guided to easily retrieve your PUK code.
Finally, it is possible for you go to shop with your telephone bill. All you need to do is contact a salesperson for them to assist you in your process.
For Bouygues subscribers.
You have two options: the first is free (by logging into the Bouygues customer area), the second is chargeable.
Let's focus on the free solution, namely customer area. Once connected, click on "Unblock my SIM card". It is provided to you by following the steps on the site.
Now that you have retrieved your PUK code, enter the 8 digits on your mobile. You are then asked to enter your new 4-digit PIN code and confirm. Note that if your phone does not ask you to enter the PUK code, dial ** 05 * then enter your PUK code.

As we have seen, there are a large number of possibilities to retrieve your PUK code but it is sometimes difficult to navigate depending on the operators.
