And There you go ! Your plants quickly regained their beautiful green color :-)
Easy, natural and efficient, isn't it?
Water all the soil around the plant well so that all of its roots pick up this remedy.
This stuff works for azaleas, hydrangeas, gardenias, camellias, rhododendrons, lupines, primroses and all so-called "heather" plants.
An acidic pine bark mulch can also help restore and maintain the correct pH for heather plants.
By the way, did you know that the acidity of the soil can also change the color of hydrangea flowers? Check out the trick here.
Why does it work?
Apple cider vinegar naturally rebalances the soil's pH to drop below 5.
It acidifies it perfectly, which allows plants to quickly regain their beautiful green color.
Either way, be patient! If your flowers have yellowed well, they will need a month or two to regain their vigor.
