Are you allergic to fabric softeners? 3 Natural Recipes WITHOUT Allergens.
I love that my clothes are supple and very soft.
But when I put on store-bought fabric softener, I often have allergic reactions on the skin.
The symptoms are redness or worse pimples on the skin ...
This is true both with Soupline and Lenor ...
At the same time, it is not a surprise because these products are full of allergens.
Fortunately, there are 100% natural homemade fabric softener recipess much cheaper than commercial ones.
Don't worry, these 3 fabric softeners are super easy to make and super effective. Look :
1. White vinegar + baking soda
In a container, mix 1/2 glass of baking soda in 1/2 glass of white vinegar. Be careful, it will foam, this is normal.
Add 30 drops of essential oil to scent if you want it to smell good. Then pour the mixture into the fabric softener drawer and start the machine as usual.
Note that you can also directly put a stiffened cloth to soak for 1 hour in a bicarbonate solution without going through the washing machine box.
With this 100% natural homemade recipe, no more allergies on the skin!
2. White vinegar
Use 1 glass of white vinegar in place of fabric softener when machine washing.
Not only does vinegar soften your laundry, it also brightens up colors and prevents black laundry from turning gray.
The white vinegar will also remove lime residue from clothes and in the washing machine.
And all this for less than € 0.50 per liter and without any chemicals! What more ?
3. Soda crystals
Dilute 1/2 glass of soda crystals in 250 ml of hot water.
Pour the solution into the fabric softener in the washing machine or directly onto the laundry.
Wait about ten minutes before starting a normal wash cycle.
When you come out of the wash, your clothes will be soft and free from allergens.
Precautions
Be aware that white vinegar can sometimes slightly distort certain synthetic textiles.
Some panty elastics or cloth diapers can also relax from the vinegar.
So for this type of clothing, prefer white vinegar soda crystals.
