- 2 teaspoons of salt

- 540 g of flour (the equivalent of 3.5 mustard glasses)

- 2 teaspoons of minced garlic

- 60 g of melted butter

How to do

The easy homemade naan recipe

1. In a large container, dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water.

2. Leave to stand for 10 minutes, until foam forms on the surface of the mixture.

3. Add the sugar, milk, egg and salt.

4. Then add the flour gradually until you get a soft dough.

5. Knead the dough for 6-8 min, until it is smooth and elastic.

6. Put the dough in a clean, well-oiled bowl.

7. Cover the bowl with a tea towel and let the dough rest for 1 hour: it will double in volume.

8. Knead the dough to soften it.

9. Add the minced garlic.

10. Make small pieces of dough, about the size of a golf ball.

11. Roll the pieces into balls.

12. Put them on a platter.

13. Cover the tray with a tea towel and let stand 30 minutes, until the balls of dough double in volume.

14. While waiting for the balls of dough to rise, preheat your oven to 200 - 230 ° C.

15. Flatten a ball of dough so that it takes the shape of a thin disc.

16. Lightly oil your oven rack.

17. Place the dough on the oven rack.

18. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, or until it is well inflated and slightly golden.

19. Brush the side that is not yet cooked with butter and turn the dough over.

20. Now brush the other side of the dough as well (the cooked side).

21. Cook 2 to 4 minutes or until the pastry is lightly golden.

22. Take the dough out of the oven.
