Cheap and Easy Halloween Pumpkin Cake.
Love carving ugly pumpkins for Halloween, but don't know what to do with leftovers?
No worries, the living dead know a delicious and inexpensive cake recipe.
Rather than giving them candy, how about a good pumpkin cake?
Ingredients
For 8 people, you will need:
- 600 g of pumpkin
- 300 g of powdered sugar
- 200 g of flour
- 75 g of soft butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 packet of dry yeast
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons of orange blossom
- 1 tablespoon of lemon
How to do
If you want, you can also add three spiders and toad slime, but not everyone likes that. Anyway, here's how I bake my evil cake:
1. I cut the pumpkin into small pieces after peeling it. At the same time, I preheat the oven to thermostat 6.
2. I put the pieces in a deep dish and I heat everything in the microwave for fifteen minutes. When it's ready, I mix and add the sugar and the eggs. Then hop! a second quick spin in the microwave for fifteen minutes!
3. I add the flour, salt, yeast then melted butter, lemon and orange blossom.
4. I put the dough in the oven for about fifteen minutes. No need to grease the mold.
Results
There you go, my cake is ready to be served :-)
