Easy and Cheap: The Recipe for Roasted Potatoes with Garlic Butter and Chives.

This roasted potato recipe is a delight.
My daughter loves these little round potatoes no matter how I prepare them. But there, she feasts!
And this is not the only one, the whole family loves it!
Don't worry this recipe is super easy to make and not going to break the bank. Look :
To prepare this recipe, a friend of mine gave me organic chives.
It smells so good and it has an authentic earthy smell!
I used a bunch of it and paired it with garlic, butter and Parmesan cheese.
Usually, I slice my potatoes to make a kind of mince.
But this time, I left them whole.
It was a great idea because they were perfectly tender and melt-in-the-mouth after being roasted in the oven!
I was also careful to evenly coat the skin of the potatoes with the garlic butter and the chives.
And the Parmesan on top added some new flavors.
These potatoes are absolutely delicious.
They make a perfect accompaniment that goes well with just about any dish!
Ingredients for 4 persons
- 60 g of unsalted butter
- 4 minced garlic cloves
- 3 tablespoons of chopped chives
- 3 pinches of pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 30 g of parmesan (in sachet)
- 1 kg of small potatoes, washed, rinsed and drained
How to do
Preparation time : 10 minutes - Cooking time : 30 mins
1. Preheat your oven to 200 ° C.
2. Melt the butter for 30 seconds in the microwave.
3. Add the garlic, chives, pepper, salt and 15 g of Parmesan cheese to the melted butter.
4. Stir to mix well.
5. Put the potatoes in a container and pour this mixture over them.
6. Toss the potatoes with the garlic and chive butter.
7. Stir well so that they are coated in the garlic and chive butter.
8. Transfer them to an ovenproof dish or skillet.
9. Cover them with a sheet of baking paper.
10. Roast them for 30 minutes.
11. After 30 minutes, remove your dish from the oven.
12. Mix again with the garlic and chive butter from the bottom of the dish.
13. Sprinkle the potatoes with the remaining Parmesan.
Results
There you go, your roasted potatoes with garlic butter and chives are already ready :-)

Additional advice
- Check the doneness of the potatoes by sticking a fork into a few of them. They must be tender. Depending on the size of the potatoes, cooking should be extended for 10 to 15 minutes. If you want to save time on cooking, simply cut the potatoes in half before putting them in the oven.
- To make this recipe a success, choose small round potatoes, regardless of the variety. But Noirmoutier potatoes work well for this recipe.
- You can serve this delicious dish with a crispy zucchini chicken or just a roast chicken.
- To vary the recipe, you can use a cheese other than Parmesan, such as Gruyère for example.
- And if you overdo it, you can freeze the leftovers and enjoy them later.
