Got a snag on a sweater you love?

Luckily, here's a trick that works to fix a hitch.

And even if you've never sewed, you're going to get there, it's simple.

Just use a sewing hook to fix the sweater:

How to do

1. Pass the hook inside the sweater and then through the hole in the hook.

2. Catch the protruding thread with the end of the hook.

3. Gently pull the hook inward, bringing the thread inward.

4. Continue to pull, making sure the thread goes through the hole your hook went through.

5. Pull until the snag is inside the sweater.

Results

And there you have it, you've fixed the snag on your beloved woolen sweater :-)

Make sure you go through the snag hole or you risk creating another snag!

Remember to choose a hook that matches the size of the hole so as not to damage the sweater.

Oh NO, do not cut the stitch that protrudes inside the sweater! You risk making a big hole in your sweater.

If you don't have a sewing hook, you can also do it with a pin, needle, or paper clip.

But know that it is much easier with a hook because this tool has a hook at the end to catch the snag.
