You bought a beautiful wool sweater and, without paying attention, it went to the washing machine at 60 °?
Do not panic !
Granted, it has shrunk well and for now it would look great on your 6 year old cousin.
But with the little advice that will follow, you will be able to put it on again and strut your stuff!
All you need is water and conditioner to restore it to its size.
1. I fill my sink with lukewarm water
2. I add 2 tablespoons of conditioner
3. I put my sweater in the sink and let it soak for 30 min
4. I put my woolen piece in a towel and wring it out by wrapping it in it
5. I dry it flat
And that's all ! You can now store your wool sweater in your wardrobe, it has returned to its original shape!
Simple, efficient and economical!
This is very useful for keeping a sweater that has shrunk for longer.
