Oats are mainly found in two forms in commerce: flakes and bran. Oatmeal is one of the basic ingredients of muesli.

With oat bran, we mainly make wonderful pancakes and pancakes.

Its most famous consumption is that of oatmeal soaked and cooked in milk. You have all heard of the famous English porridge? Well, that’s just it.

I personally add a little honey, apple pieces and cinnamon. It is a delight for the taste buds.

3. Precautions

There are still some downsides to consuming too much oats.

Better pay attention to it. The key is not to overdo it. The risk would be even greater if you are athletic or on a diet.

In fact, oats would tend to capture nutrients already present in the food bolus. So certainly, it is a good point to lose weight but on the other hand, the risk of deficiency will be that much bigger.

Because if oats only captured fats and sugars, that would be great. The problem is that it reduces the assimilation of nutrients like vitamins and minerals. Our food intake would thus be reduced by nearly 5%.

The solution is therefore either to limit the doses in oat consumption, or to consume additional food supplements to overcome the risk of deficiency.
