Baking: Our Guide To Converting Temperatures to a Thermostat.
You are in the middle of a recipe and you are about to put your dish in the oven.
But there, big question!
The recipe indicates a temperature in degrees. The problem is, you have an oven with a thermostat.
And if you improvise on the temperature, you risk missing your recipe.
An oven that is too hot or too cold can cause you to miss cooking a dish.
Fortunately, there is a solution to find your way around easily.
Just use our guide to equivalences between temperatures in degrees Celsius and thermostat. Look :

How to do
Here are all the equivalences of the heat of the oven:
- Lukewarm oven: thermostat 1 or 50 ° C.
- Very soft oven: thermostat 2 or 50 ° C to 110 ° C.
- Soft oven: thermostat 3 to 5 or 110 ° C to 170 ° C.
- Hot or medium oven: thermostat 5 to 7 or 170 ° C to 230 ° C.
- Very hot oven: thermostat 7 to 9 or 230 ° C to 280 ° C.
- Burning oven: thermostat 10 or 300 ° C.
