Looking for a refreshing idea for the whole family, I decided to install a small inflatable pool in my backyard.

It's greener than taking 3 showers a day, and it refreshes over time.

In addition, the children love to splash around and we have a great time with the family!

But how do you maintain water without a pump? How to keep a clean swimming pool without a pump?

How To Maintain Water In An Inflatable Swimming Pool For Children?

Yes, but here it is, after a few days the water is already cloudy and the inside of the pool becomes slippery due to the growth of green algae.

We already have a lot less desire to bathe there!

So how do you keep this water clean without installing a motorized pump that costs an arm? How to clean the water in this inflatable pool naturally?

Treat the water?

I was looking for a natural treatment for the water in my inflatable pool.

Knowing the multiple virtues of white vinegar, I put it in the pool. I wanted a natural treatment for my goflable pool. But no improvement to be seen with this natural product, unfortunately.

So I turned to swimming pool treatment products.

No need for a landing net, I use my colander to collect the little animals.

To treat the water, I found a chlorine treatment kit priced at 20 € (1 pebble in water per week).

I think this kind of treatment can be interesting, when you don't have a 2 year old who spends his time swallowing water.

And then, what to do with this treated water? The only solution will be to throw it away. Pity !

I change it and recycle it!

At first glance, changing the water when it is dirty does not seem ecological or economical.

But when you know that the average price of a cubic meter of water is around € 3.30, filling my small pool, 2 meters in diameter and 40 cm deep, costs me a little less than € 5. .

I avoid filling it to the maximum to spend less, and when the water is dirty, I collect the untreated water to water my plants.

So, no mess and I keep the water clean in my inflatable pool!

In the end, changing the water every week even costs me less than putting in treatment products ...

And who knows, are they effective enough to keep the water clean for weeks? If you know, tell me, I'm interested.

In addition, the water in my swimming pool is of better quality and I can collect it to water my garden. One more saving!

If you are wondering how to keep the water in a small pool clean, for me it is the most natural and economical maintenance.

This is the best way to keep the pool water clean and maintain it.

Your turn...
