To do this, dab the stain with hydrogen peroxide at 10 volumes then wash normally in a machine.
This trick also works on encrusted musty stains.
3. For a stain on fragile or synthetic fabric
For a delicate garment stained with mold, warm some milk. Then, soak the fabric in it for at least 1 hour.
Depending on the encrustation of the stain, a single milk bath may be sufficient. If not, repeat the operation and wash normally in the machine.
4. For a stain on leather
Is your leather jacket moldy? First of all, dry the damaged area by sprinkling it with talcum powder. Leave it on overnight, then vacuum up the talcum powder.
Then maintain the leather as usual with a greasing product such as glycerine soap for leather for example.
