9 Awesome Ways To Recycle Your Plastic Bottles In The Garden.
Plastic bottles are a real scourge on the planet.
Tons of bottles end up in the oceans every year ...
Your best bet is to try to buy as little as possible and drink tap water.
But what to do with the bottles that are left on our hands after having consumed them?
Fortunately, there are some simple tips to recycle them and give them a second life in the garden.

1. In a mini greenhouse
Young plants, especially seedlings, need warmth and protection.
This is where the plastic bottle comes in handy!
Cut off the bottom of a clean bottle and place the top part on top of the plant like a bell.
Enter the lower part into the ground, leaving the neck open for ventilation.
This mini greenhouse will protect the plant from frost, rain and wind.
2. In irrigation system
No need to install a sophisticated and expensive irrigation system in your vegetable garden!
This DIY irrigation system is super efficient and costs nothing!
It will allow the plants to self-feed themselves like grown-ups.
To do this, simply poke holes in the sides of a large, clean plastic bottle and press it into the soil near a plant.

3. In a watering can
Do you need a watering can for your plants or your vegetable garden?
No need to buy one!
All you need is a large plastic bottle.
Clean it and, using a small drill bit, drill small holes in the stopper.

4. In a sprinkler
Drill small holes in one side of a 2 liter plastic bottle.
Add a system to adapt the pipe and connect it directly into the neck.

5. As a tool to catch the fruit
Picking fruit from the top of fruit trees is not an easy thing ... Especially when the trees are tall!
But it would be a shame to let them rot on the tree, right?
By transforming a simple plastic bottle, it is a real child's play to pick them.
To do this, make a hole on the bottom side of a 2 liter bottle and then add a stick as a handle to the neck of the bottle.
Slide the fruit into the hole, make a small movement so that it falls, and voila!
Watch the peaches, pears and apples fall safely into the bottle. Awesome, isn't it?
6. In a wasp trap
Wasps are really useful in nature, but when they turn around your plate, it's immediately less nice ...
Not only do we risk being bitten, but it is dangerous for children!
To avoid this, make a DIY wasp trap from an empty plastic bottle.
Cut the bottle to 1/3 of its height and turn the neck upside down in the bottle.
Staple the 2 parts of the bottle, then put 25 cl of water and 5 tablespoons of honey in the bottom of the bottle.
The wasps will enter the honey trap but will not be able to exit.

7. In shovel
A good shovel is always very useful in a garden or a vegetable patch.
But no need to buy one for all that! Instead, use an old, hard plastic bottle such as a bottle of laundry, milk, or household product.

The drainage is done, and the pot remains light! Easy now to move it without having back pain.
9. In a hanging garden
Create an eclectic hanging garden by recycling plastic bottles of different sizes and colors.
Remove the bottom with a sharp knife, decorate with colored thread, then drill holes to hang on the wall.
