My Tip For Finding All My Passwords and Usernames EASILY.

Tired of losing your passwords or not having your membership number handy?

A small organization is needed to always have the right codes and identifiers on hand.

Numbers to remember, we have more and more and for everything.

Today, registration on a website is almost inevitable.

Whether it is to subscribe to a forum, to have an e-mail box, to consult your bank account, your social security reimbursements or to buy a plane ticket etc ... you need a password!

The easy trick to find all passwords and identifiers

These usernames and passwords are in addition to the many others we already have for administrative paperwork.

Namely the security number, that of the children, account number, bank code, student INE number, membership number (mutual, sports center), tax number.

I used to use Post-its that I stuck on my computer, but when one of them came off, I was ruined.

And obviously, it was on this Post-it in question that the password I was desperately looking for was written.

My very simple technique

Write down passwords and identifiers in a directory

By dint of mixing everything up or forgetting everything, I organized myself.

In addition to my phone book, I have a special directory "usernames and passwords".

It’s stupid! In this little notebook, I list EVERYTHING: administrative and Internet classified by name :-)

Stored in my office, I take it out as soon as I need it. It is at hand and gives me the necessary information right away.

Easier than going to find THE sheet that is in the house, of course, but where?

Do not let your children (or your spouse) fall on it. They don't need to know everything ...

For electronics enthusiasts

Use Keepass to save passwords

Admittedly, this paper directory may seem slightly outdated in the eyes of adepts of new technologies.

You can also list all your codes in your phone, your iPhone or your electronic diary, but we are never safe from a bug ...

Personally, I will be even more afraid of losing it or having it stolen from me. Your turn to judge !

There is also a very nice password management software and free which is called Keepass.

This open source software is a very handy password manager for your PC computer (sorry no Mac version).

The big advantage of Keepass is that you only need to remember 1 single password and all the others are encrypted and therefore secure.

For Mac (and PC) owners, you can use Dashlane.

I hope this tip will save you nervousness and waste of time!

Your turn...
