Health Benefits of Oysters: Why Are Britons Fans?

Do you know the real virtues of oysters?

Zoom on a healthy shell whose properties are amazing in the animal kingdom.

The anti-lime properties of this seafood are much better known than its health benefits.

Of course, oysters have a certain cost, but given their multiple benefits, profitability is quickly made.

It would be almost dangerous to do without! The oyster is a quality shell, both in terms of taste and nutrition.

The health benefits of oysters

1. Rich in trace elements essential to the body

Oysters rich in trace elements

Packed with trace elements (calcium, magnesium, copper, iron, zinc and potassium), the oyster is an excellent food for strengthening our immune defenses.

Its iron content is twice that of meat, which makes it an essential antioxidant product.

Trace elements are excellent slimming allies which offer us tonic (against fatigue), anti-stress and digestive properties.

2. Slimming properties

For a high protein diet, the oyster is the champion. It is rich in excellent quality protein.

Poor in fat and cholesterol, this seafood only offers 85 kcal / 100 g, or 8 small oysters.

A low calorie food that I find delicious and still low in fat and carbohydrates.

3. The other virtues of oysters

Benefits of oysters

The oyster is an aperitif and digestive.

Not only does it stimulate my appetite, but it also activates the secretion of digestive juices to help my stomach with digestion.

When I'm feeling down, I like to treat myself to half a dozen oysters.

Toning and remineralizing, in addition to fighting fatigue and anemia, it softens and improves the appearance of my skin and my face.

It's my essential beauty food! Its properties are also excellent for recovering children.

Its interest is also essential for the treatment of cardiovascular ailments and diseases thanks to its content of essential fatty acids. The oyster is mildly laxative and diuretic.

Let us not forget either that this seafood is an outstanding aphrodisiac which stimulates hormonal secretions.

How well to choose your oysters?

Choose your oysters

The heavier they are, the better they are!

To ensure optimal freshness, I open them up to 30 minutes before eating them. I keep them for 1 week away from light and between 5 ° and 10 ° in the cellar to avoid any intoxication.

Instead, choose special oysters with fine oysters which are fuller and there is therefore more to eat (filling index> 10.5).

Savings made

Between 3 and 6 € for a half-dozen oysters, a serving every now and then and no more anti-wrinkle day creams, extra pounds, unwanted bar ups and loose stomachs.

By choosing healthy foods, I save money 15 € per month easily by avoiding buying pharmaceutical and cosmetic products galore, i.e. more than 160 € per year.

Personally, I prefer to indulge myself by eating while preserving my state of health rather than lining the pockets of pharmaceutical companies which offer me questionable products.

I hardly buy any more drugs (full of additives and whose side effects are sometimes unrecognized) or day creams (whose effectiveness remains to be proven!).

Your turn...

And if not, what do you eat your oysters with? Shallot vinegar? Lemon ? Answer me in comments. (Me, I prefer nature!).
