How To Clean And Remove Bad Odors From A Gourd.
Does the inside of your water bottle smell bad?
Musty smells are normal, especially if you don't use it often.
But that doesn't mean they are easy to remove!
Fortunately, there is an effective trick to removing odors.
The trick is to use baking soda to easily clean the gourd:
How to do
1. Fill the gourd with 1/3 water.
2. Add a teaspoon of baking soda.
3. Close and shake the gourd well in all directions for 5 min.
4. Now fill the gourd completely with water.
5. Close it and place the gourd in a cool, dark corner for 2 days.
6. Empty the gourd.
7. Rinse it at least 3 times with water.
8. Leave to dry in the shade.
Results
And now, the bad smells of the gourd have disappeared :-)
Your gourd is cleaned and will not taste bad for weeks.
It also works well with a plastic bottle (bicycle for example), an aluminum bottle or a container or a plastic or aluminum bottle.
