The aluminum foil, placed behind the radiator, will repel the heat.

This way the heat will go to the center of the room instead of spreading to the walls. Elementary my dear Watson !

To properly install your aluminum foil, my advice is to stick double-sided adhesive tape on the foil and slip it into the gap between the radiator and the wall.

In this way, the heat will be repelled effectively and the aesthetic appearance of your magnificent interior remains intact!

Be careful, however, if your house or apartment has rather damp walls.

In this case, this trick is not recommended, because the heat which reaches your walls is very useful for you to combat this humidity.

I am using it right now and I am very hot even though my radiator is barely on!

An important clarification: this tip applies to cast iron radiators, not to electric convectors and other radiators!
