Is your car very dirty? Normal, when you ride a lot ...
So how can you wash the exterior of your car easily?
And above all, which product to use to clean the bodywork without leaving any traces?
Rest assured, no need to buy a special shampoo to wash your car!
Luckily, a mechanic friend told me about a simple and effective way to clean the body of a car by hand.
The trick is to use baking soda to have a car that shines quickly. Look :
What you need
- 4 teaspoons of baking soda
- 2 liters of hot water
- dishwashing liquid so that it foams
- a sponge or a soft brush
- a basin
How to do
1. Fill the basin with hot water
2. Pour in the baking soda.
3. Add a few drops of dishwashing liquid.
4. Immerse the sponge in the bicarbonate water.
5. Run it all over the body, bumpers, rims and headlights.
6. Leave the bicarbonate to act for 5 min.
7. Rinse the bodywork with clean water with the clean sponge.
Results
And there you have it, the body of your car is now nickel chrome with no traces :-)
Easy, fast and efficient, isn't it?
In addition, it is much more economical than going to a car wash!
No more traces of crushed insects, stains of tree sap, dirty rims, encrusted dirt on the headlights and windshields and dust.
It's still cleaner like that, isn't it?
Obviously, it works for all car colors: black, white, red, blue ... and also old cars.
Why does it work?
Baking soda is a great cleanser.
It dissolves grease and organic matter (dead insects, etc.) which are deposited on the bodywork.
It is because of this dirt that the dust adheres to the body.
The baking soda loosens them and removes them without scratching the bodywork.
Baking soda is a mildly abrasive powder. But its small grains dissolve in hot water and do not damage the paint of the body or the chrome.
The exterior of the car is therefore nickel, without scratches and streaks.
If stains are encrusted, sprinkle baking soda on the sponge and rub the stubborn stains. Then rinse with clean water.
Precaution
Be careful with painting your car anyway!
Always test a small part of the body that is not visible to see if the baking soda does not scratch.
Indeed, depending on the bicarbonate you have chosen, the grains are more or less fine.
