Bonus tips

- If you don't have baking soda, you can replace it with baking powder.

- Depending on the desired shade, you can put more or less drops of food coloring. For pastel colors, 4 to 5 are sufficient. For brighter colors, add about ten.

- Avoid putting essential oils in plasticine used by babies and toddlers. Indeed, babies and children should not ingest or come into contact with essential oils. If you want to flavor your plasticine, add vanilla or almond extracts.

- This plasticine keeps very well. You can keep it cool for several months. Just put it in an airtight packaging.

- If your edible plasticine has hardened, wet it a little to restore its suppleness.

- Plasticine balls tend to rub off on the hands, due to food coloring. This is his only flaw. But don't worry, it goes away easily with a hand wash!

- With these quantities, we obtain 2 medium-sized balls of plasticine. If you want to do more, just multiply the amounts, respecting the proportions of each ingredient.
