How to decrypt washing labels
The symbols on the washing labels are divided into 5 categories: washing, bleaching, drying, ironing and professional cleaning.
WASHING SYMBOLS
- Cotton program wash (without line)
- Synthetic program wash (one line)
- Wash delicate program (two strokes)
- Hand washing : do not machine wash. The garment can only be dry cleaned and should not be washed.
- No washing: the garment can only be dry cleaned and should not be washed.
BLEACH SYMBOLS (bleach)
- All types of bleaching authorized: the garment can be treated with bleach or sodium percarbonate.
- Bleaching based on oxygenates only: the garment can only be treated with bleaching agents such as sodium percarbonate.
- No bleaching: do not use bleach to treat the garment. It must be washed only with products intended for colored laundry or delicate laundry.
DRYING SYMBOLS
- Tumble dry at normal temperature (two points): drying program at 80 ° C.
- Tumble dry at moderate temperature (one point): choose a drying program at moderate temperature (60 ° C) and a reduced drying time.
- Line drying
- Line drying by draining without machine spinning
- Dry flat

IRONING SYMBOLS
