I have never been a girl who washes her hair every day.

Between shampooing, conditioner, drying and straightening, it's way too much effort for me.

It's not just lazy. It is also because the hair suffers between washing, drying and straightening ...

So unless I sweat a lot (which doesn't happen often), most of the time I only wash my hair twice a week.

And between the 2 washes, I use this super dry homemade shampoo to prevent the scalp from becoming oily.

Here is the recipe for the special homemade dry shampoo:

Ingredients

- 30 g of cornstarch also called corn flowers or cornflour

- 2 tablespoons of Cocoa Powder

- 2 drops ofessential oil

- A small container glass or plastic with a tight-fitting lid. For example, you can recycle a jam jar.

How to do

1. Pour 30 g of cornstarch into the container.

2. Add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and mix.

Cocoa powder is used to blacken cornstarch. If your hair is light, decrease the dosage. If your hair is very dark, increase the dosage.

3. Add 2 drops of your favorite essential oil. Personally, I love cinnamon with cocoa powder but peppermint is nice too.

4. Recap the container with the lid and stir well so that all the ingredients are well mixed.

5. Apply the magic recipe to the scalp using a dry powder brush. And finally, brush your hair.

There you go, now you know how to make your own homemade dry shampoo :-)

This recipe works especially well for brunettes. And in addition, it smells so good!

You can of course buy commercial dry shampoo like this for more than 5 € each!

But this recipe works just as well and costs a lot less!
